Hello,

I spoke to Nervies, so here I am with the TL;DR version of what we talked about.

Myself and a few friends, (Right now four and a part-timer) are looking for new guild/raiding home. We're all vanilla players that branched out to play other games over the years. We were a bigger team that dwindled over the years due to kids and spouses and life/whatnot. Eventually it just got too difficult to refill the team with quality players that were also quality people that we actually wanted to play with. Since Cata we've come and gone from wow trying to find a place to be.

We have a DK dps that has the most raid experience that can tank as well. He started as a tank, but loved the DK dps so much he traded up. He is willing to help out and tank when needed.

We have a resto shaman. Has always been a healer and has all of them. And is willing to swap around if needed, but prefers the shaman.

A shadow priest that is only a Spriest. Always has, always will. lol Very strong player.

Our fourth tank/dps, is loving his new DH. He very much wants to tank, but will dps in a pinch or to hold a spot.

The fifth is a warrior dps, but open to her hunter if your too melee heavy. Still unproven to us, but good people nonetheless. And eager to learm.

I would also like to add that while we want to find a place together, we don't want to be separate. We are looking for a home. Also, we understand that its your guild, we aren't merging two guilds here. We respect that youre the boss/bosses and are just looking for a place to raid successfully, see content, have a good time.

If you have any questions just message me in game, battletag Beth#1672

Thanks for considering us.

I'm sure others will chime in, but I can tell you a little about us. We have a full range of players in the guild. Many are just casuals that will run with us when we are doing mainly guild LFRs. However, we do have a group of about 15 (at last check) that were pushing the more serious end, not hardcore, but maybe casual-hardcore is a better word. We finished up thru Heroic Archi back in January before we stopped raiding, as we kind of figured that we didn't want to push into Mythic. Our LFRs are mainly for fun and to gear up casual or new raiders coming in.

Our age range goes from about 19 up to....we're not really sure. :) Yet, we do have a somewhat bawdy group, so if anyone is easily offended... We do get serious when we are pushing progression content, but still try to have fun. We will trim the raid as necessary, especially when doing progression content, if anyone isn't pulling their weight. However, we do try and work with players to bring them up to speed if they need some help.

Raid set-up wise, we have 2 very good tanks, but we're always looking for those that can DPS and tank in a pinch. We've been very strong in the past on melee DPS, but we're always looking for more.

Okay so me and a few of the other members of the leadership got together to chat about you guys and we are willing to invite you all on an trial basis. Just a couple questions first:

How long have you been with your current guild?

What are your expectations when it comes to raiding?

Somethings you should know, as I mentioned earlier we already have most of our core raid team figured out but it doesn't hurt to field new talent and see how it goes. We also cannot guarantee everyone a spot for progression raiding once that content opens up. It will depend heavily on who our best people are. When it comes to progression raiding the good players get recognized and get priority.

But again, this will mostly be a trial see how you guys play and mesh with us, etc, etc. I hope this helps and let us know if you have any questions.

Oh and FYI, I switched the forums to require an account with the shivtr.com site to post. This was so that you could get notifications of our replies.
